Warranty Coverage
COFINT warrants all chairs for the stated period, under standard 40 hours per week usage (unless stated in writing), from the date of manufacture, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. COFINT retains the right to repair or replace at its own discretion.
Warranty includes parts and labour. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only, and proof of purchase is required. All products are warranted for a minimum period of five (5) years or as otherwise specified.
What's Covered Under Warranty
- Defects in materials and workmanship
- Manufacturing faults
- Parts and components that fail under normal use
- Repair or replacement (at COFINT's discretion)
- Parts and labour costs
Warranty Terms Do Not Cover
- General wear and tear associated with everyday use
- Damage, abuse, misuse, or abnormal use
- Products which have been modified
- Excessive load above the specified weight
- Fabric is covered under the fabric manufacturer's warranty
- Damage caused by accidents or negligence
- Damage from exposure to extreme conditions
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Please ensure that all warranty repairs are requested in writing and include the following information:
- Original Purchase Order number for the product
- Type of chair and nature of the problem
- Contact name and number of the location of the chair
- Description of the issue with photos if possible
- Date of purchase and delivery date
Clients will be notified of the outcome and intended course of actions. We aim to respond to warranty claims within 24-48 hours.
Standard Usage Terms
Warranty coverage is based on standard office usage of 40 hours per week. Products used in excess of this may have reduced warranty coverage. If your product will be used in a non-standard environment or for extended hours, please discuss this with us at the time of purchase so we can provide appropriate warranty terms.
Proof of Purchase Required
This warranty applies to the original purchaser only. Proof of purchase (Purchase Order or Invoice) is required for all warranty claims. Please keep your purchase documentation in a safe place for the duration of the warranty period.
