Ordering

COFINT requires an official, written Purchase Order or the acceptance of a Quote. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that inclusions or exclusions are stated clearly. If you are going to provide fabric, special options etc. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all information contained in their Purchase Order or Quote is correct and accurate. This includes, but is not limited to, fabric ranges and colours, Product Codes, add-on options, delivery address and contact names.

If you have been quoted a price your Purchase Order MUST contain the relevant Quote Reference Number. When processing orders COFINT will check your Purchase Order details against the relevant Quote Number. Any Purchase Order with a discrepancy will not be entered into the Order/Production system. The Purchase Order will be returned and the order will not be processed until a corrected/amended order has been received. This may result in an extended lead time for your order, but will ensure that the correct product is manufactured with a correct invoicing procedure employed.

Changes/Alterations to Existing Orders

COFINT must be advised IN WRITING, via an AMENDED Purchase Order of any changes to an existing order. Emails to our COFINT office are the only acceptable methods. We will not alter any details in our system until we receive written authority and an amended order. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that this procedure is followed. COFINT reserves the right to reject amendments when the item has passed the fabric acquisition/ upholstery process.

Warranty & Service

COFINT warrants all chairs for the stated period, under standard 40 hours per week usage (unless stated in writing, from the date of manufacture, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. COFINT retains the right to repair or replace at its own discretion.

Warranty includes parts and labour. This warranty applies to the original purchaser only, proof of purchase is required. All products are warranted for a minimum period of five (5) years or as otherwise specified

Warranty terms do not cover:

  • General wear and tear associated with everyday use
  • Damage, abuse, misuse, or abnormal use
  • Products which have been modified
  • Excessive load above the specified weight
  • Fabric is covered under the fabric manufacturer’s warranty

Warranty Requests

Please ensure that all warranty repairs are requested in writing and include:

  • Original Purchase order number for the product
  • Type of chair – Nature of the problem
  • Contact name and number of the location of the chair.

Clients will be notified of the outcome and intended course of actions.

Credit Request/Returns

If products reach you in damaged condition or not as supplied as per your Purchase Order you must notify COFINT within 24 hours of the receipt of goods. If the chair is damaged and we can replace or repair the item, please follow the Warranty procedure.

You will be contacted within 24 hours and advised of the collection date. Please have the goods with the Purchase Order attached ready for collection. We will also supply details for pick up and return
